TPE Deformation Solution for Processed Products

TPE In the process of processing molded products, product deformation sometimes occurs. According to the author's own experience, there are three common cases of product deformation.
(1) TPE plastic products, hard plastic deformation
Reason: This is mainly due to the relatively thin size of the hard rubber parts. When the soft rubber TPE is coated, and within 24 hours after the rubber is completed, the soft glue shrinks and the hard plastic parts are pulled.
Improvement method: hard rubber parts to do stiffening, optimize the position of soft rubber rubber mouth, choose soft rubber TPE brand with low forming temperature;
(2) TPE product drawing deformation
Reason: After TPE is formed, the product has not been cooled and stereotyped, and forced to pull and cause deformation;
Improvement method: the product to be cooled before the mold is removed; If the product sticky mold, resulting in poor die, can be played off the die, or optimize the die top angle, or from the material angle to improve the die performance;
(3) warping deformation of TPE products
Reason: For higher hardness TPE products, shrinkage warpage deformation may occur. This is limited by the material itself and the process.
Improvement: from the material point of view, reduce the crystallization and shrinkage of the material; Optimize from the craft aspect, prolong to keep pressure and so on.
