Thermoplastic elastomer TPE or TPR "thermoplastic rubber", Thermoer plastic elastomer (TPE), Chinese name "a new type of polymer material, can be processed by all plastic machinery, such as injection molding machines, extruders, etc. The market is also known as soft rubber, plastic rubber. The industry belongs to the plastic modification industry or polymer material modification. With this material being easy to process, excellent in performance and conforming to the trend of environmental protection, it has developed rapidly and been widely used in the world in the past ten years. It is also an ideal material to replace the environmentally unfriendly PVC and the troublesome vulcanized rubber.
TPE is a general term for all thermoplastic elasticity, and can be specifically divided into styrene thermoplastic elasticity (TPE-S), hardness from 0A to 45D(95A), polyester thermoplastic elastomer (TPEE), belonging to engineering elastomer, with high hardness and modulus, hardness from 32D(70A) to 60D, polyurethane thermoplastic elastomer (TPU), good abrasion resistance, hardness from 60A onwards, olefin thermoplastic elastomer (TPO or TPV), base material EPDM/PP, dynamic vulcanization material, good weatherability and small compression deformation.
Molding methods: injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, etc. Injection molding includes: single injection molding, or secondary injection molding, and coating and bonding with PP.PS.PE.PA.PC.ABS and other matrix materials. It is used for two-color or single-color plastic elastic products.
TPE Substitute Material: Transparent and Food Grade Products. Replace soft PVC, traditional rubber and some silicone rubber.
TPE specifications: universal grade, transparent grade, food grade, injection grade, wear-resistant grade, weatherproof grade, high hardness grade, medical grade and other series of products.
