How to reduce pollution of TPE products with high transparency.

High-transparency TPE materials are based on the consideration of visibility and sensory grade. Sometimes, guests need to make some high-transparency TPE products. However, in fact, it is clear that transparent TPE materials are used to produce test molds, but the transparency of the TPE products produced is not satisfactory. What is the cause of this? The author briefly analyzes as follows:
1. material selection.
The transparency of the material itself is not good enough. The model of rubber base material, operating oil and addition of resin in the material compounding system will all affect the transparency of blended TPE materials, and then affect the transparency of subsequent TPE products.
2. Screw cleaning machine.
Before injection molding transparent TPE products, be sure to clean the machine several times with transparent TPE materials. Impurities in the screw barrel will affect the transparency of TPE products. Serious will appear black spots, white spots and so on and so forth.
3. Plasticizing temperature.
Poor plasticization of materials will lead to whitening and opacity of products. TPE is a blended material, and its plasticizing temperature may be different with different models. Generally, the plasticizing temperature of transparent TPE may be in a large range of 130~230℃. Soft hardness (oil-filled multiple) and molecular weight of rubber substrate are the main factors affecting plasticizing temperature. Consult the supplier for the specific plasticizing temperature.

A: The problem of particle transparency. Most TPE particles (based on SEBS substrate) don't look very transparent and a little foggy, but after being made into products, the transparency will rise.
B: Hardness. Transparent TPE materials can only be made into products below 70A. If the hardness is too high, the transparency decreases obviously.
C: preservation of products. Class 0 super soft TPE products are recommended to be packaged in a clean transparent PE bag immediately after being made, but it is best to make air holes in the bag. Prevent dust adsorption from affecting transparency.
D: Determination of plasticizing degree. The plasticizing temperature given by the supplier is for reference only. What is the actual plasticizing condition? Generally, when observing the nozzle, the nozzle is transparent, or when the material is ejected in the form of transparent liquid, it means that it has been plasticized in place.
