According to the structure and size of TPE/TPR products, processing equipment, molds and other factors, the appropriate injection temperature of TPE/TPR materials is selected and gradually adjusted according to the actual processing conditions.
TPE/TPR materials are widely used in daily products, adult products, hardware tools, luggage wheels, sports equipment, toy products, auto parts, medical products, wire and cable, electronic appliances, communication instruments and footwear products. TPR based on SBS is mainly used in shoe and toy industries, while TPE modified materials based on SEBS are mainly used in application fields with high requirements on physical properties and tensile strength and low hardness.
The commonly used temperatures are as follows:
TPE/TPR hardness 20~100A single material injection, the recommended injection temperature is 140~220℃
TPE/TPR Encapsulated ABS,PC, Suggested Secondary Injection Temperature 200~230℃
TPE/TPR Encapsulated PP, Recommend Secondary Injection Temperature 170~200℃
TPE/TPR Encapsulated PA, Suggested Secondary Injection Temperature 230~260℃
TPR encapsulated PS(HIPS,GPPS), the recommended secondary injection temperature is 180~200℃.
