What are the characteristics of TPE transparent materials? TPE transparent materials are of various types. Usually we use SEBS\SBS as the base material to blend and modify the new polymer elastomer material, which is called TPE or TPR. The approximate formula is SEBS\SBS+ rubber oil +PP+ functional additive. The hardness of TPE transparent material increases with the increase of PP (polypropylene) ratio.

TPE transparent material is recommended to be injection molded at 150~200℃.

TPE transparent material has the characteristics of environmental protection and non-toxicity, delicate and dry hand feeling, non-greasiness, good transparency and good elasticity, can be added with toner and color masterbatch, and fully complies with EU ROHS2.0；; REACH(SVHC),EN71-3, California 65 and other environmental standards.
Points for Attention in Selection of TPE Transparent Material Formula:
TPE transparent materials are also divided into three categories: highly transparent, fully transparent and semi-transparent. When producing highly transparent TPE materials, DeChong chemical technology developers suggest to use imported SEBS raw materials, such as Japan's Kolli kuraray and US's Koten Kraton's SEBS. The transparency of TPE materials made by Taiwan and domestic SEBS is not so good.
The selection of rubber oil in transparent TPE material formula is also very important. White oil with high hydrogenation degree has good yellowing resistance, and accordingly, has good transparency and is not easy to yellow. Some rubber oils turn yellow when made.

TPE transparent material has the above characteristics, so it is widely used and has various processing technologies. It can be molded through injection molding, secondary injection molding, extrusion, blow molding and casting.
