Application of TPE in auto parts: mainly including transmission belt, shock absorber, rubber hose, airbag, automobile wiper, automobile rearview mirror, sealing TPE sealing strip and internal and external decoration materials. The following are some existing and developing uses of TPE in auto parts:
The rubber used for the sealing strip was NR, SBR and CR in the early years, but EPDM was used later. In recent years, energy-saving and environment-friendly thermoplastic elastomer TPE has begun to replace rubber, such as weather-resistant sealing strip, coated window sealing strip, dust-proof sealing strip and light sealing material.
Thermoplastic elastomer TPE/TPR has many characteristics:
1. The materials are translucent, highly transparent, white, white, black, etc.
2. It has passed environmental protection tests and grade tests such as ROHS, PAHs, FDA, EN71-3, ASTM963, LFGB, etc.
3, the material is environment-friendly, halogen-free, nontoxic and tasteless, and does not contain compounds such as plastic softener, phosphophthalate, nonylphenol, heavy metals and the like;

6. Wide selection of hardness range (Shaw 0A-90A), which can be adjusted according to demand.

11, the material does not contain moisture, can be directly used without drying, saves energy, and is easy to process and color. Nozzle material, i.e. leftover material, can be completely recycled, thus reducing the product and not affecting the physical properties of the product.
12. It can be injection molded by secondary injection molding with TPE and coated with PP, PE, PS, ABS, PC, PA and other matrix materials. It can also be formed separately. It is the only choice to replace soft PVC and some silicone rubber.
